FSD v14.3.11 starts rolling out, and HW3 cars get a matching Lite build
Firmware 2026.33.5 brings v14.3.11 to early-access owners first, with v14.3 Lite for Hardware 3 on the same release, a sign the older fleet is closing the gap.

The 10-second read
- v14.3.11 began rolling out Oct 7 on 2026.33.5, starting with the early-access group (<1% of the fleet).
- HW3 vehicles get v14.3 Lite on the same firmware.
- Release notes match v14.3.9/10, including Automatic Collision Evasion and a faster compiler and runtime.
- In the US, FSD (Supervised) is subscription-only at $99/month.
Tesla began pushing FSD (Supervised) v14.3.11 on October 7 on firmware 2026.33.5. As usual the rollout started with the early-access group: under 1% of the fleet in the first days, according to fleet trackers TeslaFi and Tessie.
The bigger detail is in the same build. Cars with Hardware 3 get FSD v14.3 Lite on identical firmware. For most of the past two years HW3 owners ran a separate, older branch (v12.6.x). Shipping Lite builds alongside the main release suggests that gap is now narrowing release by release.
What's in it
The notes for 14.3.11 match 14.3.9 and 14.3.10, so the headline features carry over:
- Automatic Collision Evasion. FSD can intervene to avoid a crash even while the driver is driving manually. It first appeared in v14.3.9 in September.
- A rewritten AI compiler and runtime (MLIR-based), which Tesla says cuts reaction time by about 20%.
- One model shared across Smart Summon, FSD and Robotaxi.
- Smart Summon now runs at up to 8 mph.
Why a point release matters
Tesla has linked longer and eventually 24-hour Robotaxi operations to upcoming FSD releases. Musk says night driving is limited mostly by detecting small animals. Every point release that reaches the consumer fleet is also a step on the software path to driverless service.
The business side
In the US, FSD (Supervised) is now subscription-only at $99/month. The one-time purchase (last priced at $8,000) ended after February 14, 2026. Tesla reported 1.48 million active subscriptions at the end of Q2, up 56% year over year, and says more than 55% of new North American deliveries include FSD.
What's next
The next major version is v15, which Tesla described to JPMorgan in August as a "step-change". There's no date. Our FSD tracker logs every release, and v15 will appear there when it ships.
FSD (Supervised) needs an attentive driver ready to take over at any moment.
